Toxicity exposure ratio
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012166
A ratio comparing the no-observed-effect concentration (NOEC) or a similar toxicity endpoint of a substance to its predicted environmental concentration (PEC). This ratio is used in ecological risk assessment to evaluate the potential for adverse effects on organisms in an ecosystem. A ratio greater than one generally indicates a lower risk.
