Geographic information system

A system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all types of geographical data. GIS applications allow users to create interactive queries, analyze spatial information, edit data, and present the results of all these operations. This technology is widely used in environmental monitoring, urban planning, and public health.
