Infusion

The process of introducing a liquid substance, such as a drug solution or nutrient fluid, into the body, typically into a vein, over a prolonged period. This method allows for a controlled and sustained delivery of the substance, maintaining consistent blood levels. Intravenous infusion is a common route for administering chemotherapy or rehydration fluids.
