Administration of drugs parenteral route

The delivery of drugs into the body by routes other than the digestive tract, bypassing the gastrointestinal system. This includes injections such as intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal routes. Parenteral administration provides rapid drug action and precise dosage control, particularly for drugs that are poorly absorbed or degraded orally.
