Parenteral dosage

The administration of a substance into the body by routes other than the digestive tract, such as intravenous, intramuscular, or subcutaneous injection. This method bypasses the gastrointestinal system, allowing for rapid absorption and precise control over the administered dose. It is often used for drugs that are poorly absorbed orally or require immediate effect.
