Inhalation therapy

A method of administering therapeutic agents, such as drugs or gases, directly into the respiratory system for local or systemic effects. This approach allows for rapid onset of action in the lungs and can minimize systemic side effects compared to oral or parenteral routes. Common examples include bronchodilators for asthma or oxygen therapy.
