Intrinsic rate of growth
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006036
The maximum potential rate at which a population can increase under ideal environmental conditions, with unlimited resources and no limiting factors. This rate is determined by the species' biological characteristics, such as birth rates and death rates. It represents the exponential growth capacity of a population in the absence of environmental resistance.
