Irregular dendron
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006157
A branched polymeric arm or segment that emanates from a central core or a branching point in a dendrimer, but which does not possess the perfect, symmetrical branching structure characteristic of a regular dendron. The irregularity can be in the number of branching points, the length of segments, or the nature of the repeating units. This can lead to variations in the overall dendrimer architecture.
