Kohonen network

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006377

A type of artificial neural network, also known as a self-organizing map, used for unsupervised learning and data visualization. It maps high-dimensional input data onto a lower-dimensional grid of neurons, preserving the topological relationships of the input data. This network is often employed for clustering, pattern recognition, and dimensionality reduction in chemometrics.
