Neural network
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007853
An interconnected system of neurons in the brain or spinal cord that processes and transmits information through electrochemical signals. These networks are responsible for complex functions such as thought, memory, and motor control, forming the basis of neurological activity. The human brain contains billions of neurons organized into intricate neural networks.
