Olfactory bulb

A neural structure located in the forebrain of vertebrates that receives olfactory information from the nasal cavity. It processes signals from olfactory receptor neurons and transmits them to other brain regions involved in odor perception and memory. This structure is the first relay station for olfactory information in the brain.
