Dry bulb temperature
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003457
The temperature of air measured by a standard thermometer that is exposed to the air but shielded from moisture and radiation. This is the ambient air temperature that people commonly refer to. It is a fundamental parameter in psychrometry, used in conjunction with wet bulb temperature to determine humidity and other atmospheric properties.
