Psychrometry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009654
The scientific study of the properties of moist air, specifically mixtures of water vapor and other gases. It quantifies characteristics such as temperature, pressure, humidity, and enthalpy to understand and control atmospheric conditions. A psychrometric chart graphically represents these properties, relating dry-bulb temperature, wet-bulb temperature, and relative humidity at a constant pressure.
