Humidity
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005428
A measure of the amount of water vapor present in a gas, particularly in the air. It can be expressed in several ways, including absolute humidity, which is the mass of water vapor per unit volume of air, and specific humidity, the mass of water vapor per unit mass of moist air. Relative humidity compares the actual amount of water vapor to the maximum amount the air could hold at that temperature.
