Frost point hygrometer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004686

An instrument used to measure the frost point temperature, which is the temperature at which water vapor in a gas sample will condense as ice. It operates by cooling a mirror surface until frost forms, then detecting this formation and maintaining the mirror at that temperature. This measurement provides a highly accurate determination of the absolute humidity of a gas.
