Frost point hygrometer

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005833

An instrument used to measure the frost point, which is the temperature at which air becomes saturated with respect to ice. It operates by cooling a mirror surface until frost forms, then precisely measuring the mirror's temperature. This method provides a highly accurate determination of atmospheric moisture content, especially at very low temperatures.
