Chilled-mirror hygrometer
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004275
An instrument used to measure the dew point or frost point temperature of a gas, which is a direct indicator of its absolute humidity. It operates by cooling a polished mirror surface until condensation or frost forms, at which point the mirror's temperature is measured.
