Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007318
An instrument used to determine the direction and speed of cloud movement by observing their reflection in a horizontal mirror. The mirror typically has a compass rose or grid etched on its surface, allowing an observer to track the apparent motion of clouds relative to fixed points.
