Relative humidity

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010144

The ratio of the partial pressure of water vapor in the air to the saturation vapor pressure of water at the same temperature and pressure. It is expressed as a percentage and indicates the degree of saturation of the air with water vapor. A relative humidity of 100% signifies saturated air, where condensation can occur.
