Relative humidity
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003096
The ratio of the partial pressure of water vapor in the air to the saturated vapor pressure of water at a given temperature, expressed as a percentage. While not a direct drilling fluid property, it can affect the hydration of dry additives stored on location and the evaporation rate of water from open mud pits. High relative humidity can also influence the drying of cement.
