Dry bed
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001203
A dehydration system that uses a solid desiccant, such as molecular sieves, silica gel, or activated alumina, to remove water vapor from natural gas. The gas flows through a bed of desiccant material, which adsorbs the moisture. When the desiccant becomes saturated, it is regenerated by heating.
