Dry-bed dehydrator
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001208
A type of dehydration unit that removes water vapor from natural gas using solid desiccants like molecular sieves, silica gel, or activated alumina. Gas flows through a vessel containing the desiccant, which adsorbs water molecules. These units typically operate in a cyclic manner, with one bed dehydrating while another is being regenerated by heating.
