Relative permeability

The ratio of the effective permeability of a fluid (oil, gas, or water) to the absolute permeability of the rock to a single fluid. It indicates the ability of a porous medium to conduct one fluid when other immiscible fluids are also present. Relative permeability is a dimensionless quantity, ranging from zero to one.
