Electrohygrometer
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001278
An instrument used to measure the water vapor content or relative humidity of a gas stream, often in natural gas processing. It operates by detecting changes in electrical properties, such as resistance or capacitance, of a hygroscopic material exposed to the gas. This device provides real-time data for monitoring dehydration processes and preventing hydrate formation in pipelines.
