Wet bulb temperature
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012681
The temperature indicated by a thermometer whose bulb is covered with a wet cloth and exposed to a current of air. This temperature reflects the cooling effect of evaporation and is always equal to or lower than the dry bulb temperature. It is a measure of the air's moisture content and is used in psychrometry to determine humidity.
