Cacosmia

A condition characterized by the perception of an unpleasant or foul odor that is not actually present in the environment. This olfactory hallucination can be a symptom of neurological disorders, sinus infections, or exposure to certain toxins. It differs from anosmia, which is the complete loss of the sense of smell.
