Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts equation

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006376

An empirical equation used to describe the non-exponential relaxation behavior observed in many disordered systems, including polymers and glasses. It models the decay of a physical quantity, such as stress or polarization, over time with a stretched exponential function. The equation is characterized by a relaxation time and a stretching exponent.
