Modified Arrhenius equation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007451
An empirical equation that extends the basic Arrhenius equation to account for temperature dependence in the pre-exponential factor. It is expressed as k = A T^n exp(-Ea/RT), where 'n' is an additional empirical parameter. This modification provides a better fit to experimental data for some reactions over a wide temperature range.
