Nonlinear mapping
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008036
A chemometric technique used to project high-dimensional data into a lower-dimensional space while preserving the non-linear relationships between data points. This method aims to reveal underlying structures or clusters in complex datasets that might not be apparent with linear projection methods. It is often employed for visualization and pattern recognition in chemical data analysis.
