Multi-way data
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007693
A dataset characterized by having three or more modes or dimensions, such as samples, variables, and time points. This type of data arises when measurements are collected under varying conditions or over time for multiple samples and analytes. Chemometric methods like parallel factors analysis are often applied to decompose and interpret multi-way data structures.
