Parallel factors analysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008444
A multi-way decomposition method used in chemometrics to analyze data arrays with three or more modes, such as excitation-emission matrices. It decomposes the data into a set of trilinear components, each representing a pure component's spectral and concentration profiles. This technique assumes trilinearity of the data and provides unique solutions under certain conditions.
