Core consistency diagnostic
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002578
A statistical measure used in chemometrics, particularly with parallel factors analysis (PARAFAC), to assess the appropriateness of the chosen number of components for a multi-way data set. It quantifies how well the model's core array resembles an identity matrix, with values close to 100% indicating a good fit. A low value suggests that too many components have been extracted.
