r2
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009792
A statistical measure, also known as the coefficient of determination, that indicates the proportion of the variance in the dependent variable that can be predicted from the independent variable(s) in a regression model. It ranges from 0 to 1, with higher values indicating a better fit of the model to the observed data. In QSAR, it quantifies the goodness of fit for the training set.
