Root mean squared error of calibration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010403
A statistical measure that quantifies the average magnitude of the differences between the predicted values and the actual values for the data points used to build a calibration model. It indicates how well the model fits the training data. A lower RMSEC suggests a better fit of the model to the calibration set.
