Standard error of prediction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011293
A statistical measure in computational chemistry that quantifies the accuracy of a model's predictions. It is calculated as the standard deviation of the residuals, which are the differences between observed and predicted values. This value is obtained by taking the square root of the residual sum of squares divided by the number of data points minus the number of model terms.
