Root mean squared error of prediction

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010404

A measure of the average magnitude of the errors in predictions made by a model on a set of new, unseen data. It quantifies the difference between predicted values and actual values, providing an indication of the model's predictive accuracy. A lower RMSEP value indicates a more accurate predictive model.
