Standard error of estimates
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011292
A measure of the average distance that observed values fall from the regression line in a statistical model. It quantifies the accuracy of predictions made by the model, indicating the typical magnitude of the residuals. A smaller standard error suggests a more precise estimation of the dependent variable.
