Standard equilibrium constant
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011291
The equilibrium constant for a reaction where all reactants and products are in their standard states. It is a dimensionless quantity that relates the activities of reactants and products at equilibrium. This constant is related to the standard Gibbs energy change of the reaction by the equation ΔG° = -RT ln K°, where R is the gas constant and T is the thermodynamic temperature.
