Root mean square error of cross validation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010402
A statistical measure of the average magnitude of the errors in predictions made by a model during a cross-validation procedure. It quantifies the difference between the predicted values and the actual values for data points not used in training the model. A lower RMSECV indicates a better predictive performance of the model.
