Multivariate calibration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007689
A statistical method that establishes a relationship between multiple measured variables (e.g., spectroscopic data) and one or more properties of interest (e.g., concentrations of analytes). This approach considers the entire dataset simultaneously, accounting for interferences and complex interactions. Partial least squares (PLS) and principal component regression (PCR) are common multivariate calibration techniques.
