Multivariate curve resolution
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007690
A chemometric technique used to decompose complex multivariate data, such as spectroscopic measurements of mixtures, into pure component spectra and their corresponding concentration profiles. It aims to extract chemically meaningful information without prior knowledge of the individual components. Algorithms like alternating least squares regression are often employed to achieve this resolution.
