Principal components regression
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009469
A multivariate statistical method that combines principal component analysis with multiple linear regression. It reduces the dimensionality of a dataset by transforming a set of correlated variables into a smaller set of uncorrelated principal components. These components are then used as predictors in a regression model to predict a response variable.
