Score
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010591
A new variable created in multivariate data analysis, such as principal component analysis, that represents a linear combination of the original variables. Scores indicate the position of each sample in the reduced dimensional space defined by the principal components. They are calculated for each sample and each component.
