Biotic score

A numerical value assigned to an organism or a group of organisms based on their sensitivity or tolerance to environmental pollution. These scores are aggregated to calculate biotic indices, which reflect the overall ecological health of an environment. Organisms highly sensitive to pollution receive lower scores.
