Factor analysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004328
A statistical technique employed to simplify complex datasets by identifying underlying, unobserved variables that account for the correlations among a larger set of observed variables. This method reduces the dimensionality of data, revealing latent structures or common factors. It is often used in chemometrics to interpret spectroscopic data or chemical process measurements.
