Model
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007444
A simplified representation of a system or process, often expressed mathematically, that aims to describe, explain, or predict its behavior. In chemometrics, models are used to establish relationships between chemical data and properties or outcomes. These can range from simple linear regressions to complex multivariate algorithms.
