Weibull model
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012667
A mathematical function used in toxicology and risk assessment to describe dose-response relationships, particularly for carcinogens. The model is flexible and can fit data that follow different types of distributions by adjusting its shape and scale parameters. It is one of several statistical models, including the probit and logit models, employed to extrapolate risks from high experimental doses to low environmental exposure levels.
