Dose-response relationship
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003402
The association between the administered dose of a substance and the proportion of an exposed population that exhibits a specific, all-or-nothing biological response. This relationship is typically visualized as a sigmoid curve when plotting the percentage of responding individuals against the logarithm of the dose. Key parameters derived from this curve include the ED50, the dose that produces a response in 50% of the population.
