Dose-effect relationship

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003399

The correlation between the amount of a substance administered to an organism and the resulting biological effect observed in that organism. This relationship describes how the intensity of a response changes with varying doses. It is distinct from a dose-response relationship, which considers the proportion of a population exhibiting a specific effect.
