No-effect dose
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007984
The highest dose of a substance administered to a group of organisms that does not produce any detectable adverse effect. This dose is determined through experimental studies and is used in toxicology to identify a threshold below which a substance is considered safe. It is a key parameter in establishing regulatory limits for chemical exposure.
